Karzai reportedly threatens to join Taliban
Outside pressures to reform appear to be too much for this Bush-era anointee to stomach. Karzai is also saying that the election fraud was the work of the United States.
He's probably skimmed enough already that he could lead a very comfortable life outside of the country. It's time to ask him if he can spell D-I-E-M. And we shouldn't feel bad about doing so.
