Heh, heh. What appears to be a wiretapping attempt should make it clear now that this guy is more of a political operative than anything else.

Update: As much as the conservative chorus would like to say this was not a wiretapping attempt, the presence of such a device in one of the perp's nearby vehicle would raise the possibility, if only as a "Plan B".
