Obama makes first big blunder with telecom compromise?

We have tremendous respect for Glenn hence we are inclined to believe this statement reflects Obama's position. And we know the Republicans will trot out their usual tactic of twisting anything into a seeming weakness on national security.

But because they will "swift boat" under any circumstances, is that really good cause to alienate the netroots segment that has been so important in his success.
