Duh, stepped in it now
The Pentagon supposedly (that qualification comes as this is from the Washington Times) has discovered that they are in a morass.
The article has up front the notion that it amounts to a simple math problem; terrorists are being made faster than they can be killed. Now the wingnuts and keyboard commandos (dressed in their camouflage pj's) will tell you that just means we need to kill them faster.
