Anina, call me
I've watched all the Cringely webcasts to date finding each one interesting for different reasons. Anina, the WAP queen, wasn't what I would have normally expected out of the show but was still kinda cool and did a fair job of expanding the scope of the show. I've written before on the forecasts of the mobile/cell phone replacing the computer; this episode was a dip of the toes in that stream.
Anina is a 23 year old fashion model (For my money, she looked better on Cringely than 90% of the images on her site; we're talking cute and smart). Model fluff? It's her day job. What pays the bills. And she's in the upper stratus of the modeling field.
Add to that her admirable mission to teach young girls/women that they can be so much morre than "good looking" (a very mature objective for a 23 yr old IMHO).
Sounds like somebody has a serious case of envy.

Yeah, fashion model fluff. And what I have for her I wouldn't call envy.
I cut her some slack for her age; that's why she still rated the "call me". Regardless, one should still try to dispell that silliness at as early an age as possible.
I'll stand by cute and smart.
