It ain't lookin' good for our lil' Cowboy-in-Chief
I feel as if my writing has pointed to specific points that were wanting in Shrub. I know I wasn't alone in recognizing these failings. I am somewhat apolitical (being a recovering Trotskyite) so I feel as though my motives were, shall we say, purer.
My single greatest wish at this point is that we, as the body politic, do not make these same mistakes again anytime soon. I know better than to think we won't ever allow this to happen to ourselves. We just can't afford it right away. We had everything before us that we were being handed a fraud. We were swayed by the simplest of hogwash (though effectively conveyed). ¶ 9/04/2005 07:20:00 PM
