CompUSA Auctions handles the problem
In a string of rants about how bad HP support is (one of my least favored favorite subjects), CompUSA's eBay store handled a PS/2 connector problem quite differently from HP itself. Another user in the same string had a similar problem that HP dropped the ball on, turning off the user on a repeat buy from HP.
CompUSA had refurbed the computer of another user, promptly dealt with the connector problem (even sending another shipping box for the return) and had completely turned around the customer's experience. Good customer service (i.e., willing to stand behind your merchandise) pays off. Another individual giving positive feedback and on a gripe-site. ¶ 8/28/2005 07:49:00 PM
