The Pledge of Allegiance was written by a socialist. For all you reactionaries, that's a Commie. This puts the inclusion of "under God" during the red-baiting days into some perspective. The irony of this goes even deeper in that the author, Francis Bellamy, was a Baptist minister who saw no need to include those words.
