Camp Fire Talk- close but not exactly
I've done some thinking on this and I really think it goes beyond that. Perhaps the camp fire analogy applies to smaller working groups but it seems silly to ignore the greater possible scope and range of digital communication. In my mind, I've likened it to something more on the level of earlier democratic gatherings in a square: Not always Athens-like and definitely not all in the same hunting party.
Update: Just so it's not thought that I've ignored the ability to target and congeal- yes but in the higher analysis the bringing together of segments is what matters. ¶ 7/27/2005 07:24:00 PM
