Penheaded
Cheney is a hypocritical dog
Ol' dead-eye Dick, the kind of guy that would shoot a friend in the face and then hide from police till the booze wears off, is up to his old tricks. This frustrated old fuck wouldn't know what a war was if it bit him in the ass. He ran from service in Vietnam and the supposed war that he and his understudy waged on Bin Laden was one
piss-poor excuse for execution.
Politico has been somewhat suspect in our eyes for some time now. We'll have to give them some benefit of the doubt by saying they just wanted to stir the pot by giving Cheney a place to spout his horseshit.
Just in case it's not apparent, our patience with this kind of stuff is wearing very thin.
Our eyes are on Tehran
We deem the current unrest to be of almost singular importance in the landscape of the regional geopolitical picture.
That statement should not in anyway be construed to lessen our fundamental identification with any people's struggle for free and democratic self determination.
Bloggingheads.tv: A very heavy ounce of truth from Hitchens
Through most of the diavlog with Bob Wright, Hitchens comes across as somewhat obnoxious and his arguments are certainly not as airtight as he would have you believe. However, here he brings it all home.
Birch Society under the big tent at CPAC
We grew up reading William F. Buckley so this post resurrecting his thoughts on the Birch Society hit a resonant note. We have decided to break our embargo on linking to LGF after
recent events that have caught our notice. Our first intimation of a change there was when we caught LGF's outing of Pamela Geller (of Atlas Shrugs) being a featured speaker at a Nazi convention in Germany.
News for mobile platforms
When others have been whipping the news industry for a failure to adapt, we've been saying whoa to the
Rosen/Jarvis herd. The mobile platform is the exception: We are now playing catch-up in this important area.
We have not reached bottom
As much as E&P will be missed, it ain't over.
We haven't even reached the point where the cutting of editorial staffs takes its toll on the value of the products.*
*addendum: They can and will slide further.
