Cheney says CIA torture investigation "political"
Torturing is in violation of our laws and international treaties; so that
inquiry would be political?

Hidden 30 Rock episodes on Hulu
The 30 Rock front page at Hulu states that five episodes are posted but more can be accessed.
After watching one of the front page five, a link is present in the viewer for "more episodes". Clicking on that will bring up an assortment of other episodes.
Update: See the comments: We stand corrected, thanks.
Update2: Eight days later, they're back to five episodes.

Murdoch moves to make money online
The Internet put into more or less common knowledge that having access to as much knowledge as possible is a good thing. This had always been true but folks could now stumble upon it without some deep philosophical epiphany. And given the great advantage of great knowledge it should be free, right?
Well, that sounds fine but what of the cost of intellectual discovery? A simple zero-sum characterisation of neurons firing runs into entropic problems. And then there is the shoe leather.
Murdoch's decision is backed by the heft of a wide swath of media. A great many people will be looking to this as a possible recipe for the rescue of news organizations. Good luck.
