Biden in your wallet- Priceless!
Biden has pretty consistently voted on the side of credit card companies, not for consumers, on finance and bankruptcy legislation.

Joe Biden (other than Lieberman), worst possible choice for VP
We've done a little organizing and understand the facility for compromising that can instill. We also appreciate the unerring drive toward success that can come from this experience. We also think Obama is starting to register on the Bill Clinton-meter.
Despite Obama's perceived lack of experience in foreign affairs, Biden was not the choice to be made.
Delaware has long been known as a corporate haven and Biden has often played the corporate senator. When it is time to attack McCain for his ties to lobbyists and his true non-maverick status; there will be Biden, a sitting Delaware duck.
As for ego, Biden is the poster-child for the virulent variety of self awareness. He's wordy and has never met a microphone that he didn't like, though those relationships haven't always worked out in Biden's favor. He will
plagiarize to make himself look good.
We will most likely not be supporting either of the two major party candidates.
"Ma dawg, Cheney, ate that there e-mail"
Rep. Rahm Emmanuel (D-IL) criticized how the problem has been handled: "The White House that wants to keep track of all your e-mail and phone records can't even keep track of their own."

Cranks discover libaries are hot
Dvorak's parting words weren't quite right: Quite a few libraries have long recognized the importance of the digital shift in information (

Pinkerton: Another thing that Shrub didn't get right
Putin didn't need much to hoodwink Shrub.
Jim's larger point is consistent with his conservative leanings and not without merit.
Vista inevitable to the Cranky Geeks
We are sure that if ever there was a crew capable of wrangling Linux this would be the one. Which makes their outlook on Vista quite a statement on the condition of FOSS/Linux.
We agree the adaptation of Vista is a wise thing to do but perhaps for somewhat different reasons. Vista, in Microsoft's current strategic view, will be the last operating system before the shift to the cloud of software as service. We like the idea of a self-contained OS that allows hands-on hacking and tweaking: Vista may well be the last of that sort to come from Redmond.
However, we also feel that Windows XP is about to enter a phase of development that will increase the OS's utility.
